Kashmir Angel Network is a network of Angel investors who work, live and have a strong interest in the startup ecosystem of Kashmir and beyond. We are a structured body passionately driven and professionally managed. We facilitate the introduction of entrepreneurs to potential investors through presentations and other mechanisms.

Kashmir Angel Network consists of individual angel investors interested in financing privately held companies or ventures typically in an early stage of development. We are focused on providing investments to all ready and potential startups with Angels. Potential members must have a strong desire, willingness, and capability to learn about the areas of interest.

Membership is by recommendation only. A new member must be referred and recommended by an existing member. Any individual willing to become a member should submit the application form along with the reference letter from a current member explaining why he/she considers the individual as a potential candidate.The interested individual is also expected to be aware of the terms and conditions given in the Membership Information handbook.

The interested candidate must submit the Membership Application and Membership Agreement, which will be reviewed by the membership committee. The applicant will be informed of the decision within thirty (30) days of completed application submission.

The aspiring member should be someone who can afford to invest in high risk, early stage ventures to provide emerging companies with seed and startup capital. We expect active investors – who contribute their time and experience to evaluate deals and mentor entrepreneurs, as well as offer introductions to appropriate contacts from your network that will help the entrepreneur succeed. Expectations from a member, as well as the objective process of measuring their involvement, are set out in the Member Information and Membership Agreement Handbook. This will be provided to all candidates prior to an actual invitation to membership.

Members get the benefit of attending members-only monthly meetings, where a highly curated list of companies present in-person, followed by Q&A and discussions.

Members have access to in-depth reviews, video recordings, and legal and financial due-diligence reports of shortlisted companies

Members are provided a comprehensive pre and post investment support documentation, monitoring and portfolio management services.
